Get paid every month. Skip the admin.

Debitly runs your debit orders, follows up on missed payments and shows you who owes what.

Money settles straight into your own bank account. Debitly never holds it.

Late payments cost more than you think.

Every month some customers pay late, some forget and some never pay. Someone spends evenings chasing them and matching bank statements. Put in your own numbers and see what that is worth.

What Debitly is worth to you each month
R0a month
  • Payments recovered that would have been lost
  • Admin time back, at R250 an hour
  • Debitly plan
  • Netcash fees, including VAT

An estimate, not a promise. We assume Debitly recovers half of the payments that would otherwise be lost, through bank retries and pay links, and saves 80% of the chasing and matching time. Netcash fees are their published rates for debit orders and DebiCheck.

Set it up once. Then it runs on its own.

Four steps take you from a list of customers to money arriving in your account each month.

  1. Step 1

    Add your customers

Type them in, or import a spreadsheet. Set what each one pays and on which day.

  2. Step 2

    They approve once

Each customer gets a DebiCheck request and approves it in their own banking app. No forms to sign.

  3. Step 3

    Debits run by themselves

Customers get a notice a few days before. On the day, the money moves from their bank to yours.

  4. Step 4

Missed payments get a pay link

If a debit fails, the customer receives a link to settle by card or instant EFT. You do nothing.

Everything the billing cycle needs, in one place.

Built for the way recurring billing works in South Africa, from the mandate to the bank statement.

DebiCheck mandates

Customers approve a mandate once in their banking app. It is registered with their bank, so disputes are rare and the debit cannot be bounced as unauthorised.

Automatic monthly runs

Each run is prepared, checked and submitted on schedule. You get a summary, not a to-do list.

Failed-payment recovery

A failed debit triggers a pay link within minutes. Card, instant EFT and more. Paid links clear automatically.

Reconciliation

Upload your bank statement and every line is matched to a customer. Anything odd is flagged for you.

Who owes what

One screen shows every customer, what they owe and what has been done about it. No spreadsheet needed.

WhatsApp reminders Coming soon

Debit notices and pay links sent where your customers already read their messages.

Team roles and two-factor sign-in

Give your bookkeeper view-only access, keep approvals with the owner, and protect every account with a second factor at sign-in.

Your money, your account.

Debits settle into your business bank account through Netcash, a registered payments provider. Debitly instructs the collection and reconciles the result. It never touches the money.

  • Settled by Netcash

Netcash is registered with the Payments Association of South Africa and runs the DebiCheck rails with the banks. Your business gets its own account with them.

  • Debitly never holds funds

There is no Debitly wallet and no float. If you stop using Debitly tomorrow, nothing of yours is sitting with us.

  • POPIA-conscious data handling

We keep only what a collection needs, encrypt it at rest and in transit, and let you export or delete a customer's data when they ask.

Questions people ask before they switch.

If yours is not here, ask us through the pilot form below.

What is DebiCheck?

DebiCheck is the South African debit order system where the customer confirms the mandate with their own bank, usually in their banking app, before the first debit. Because the bank holds the approved mandate, the customer cannot later dispute the debit as unauthorised. It replaced the older debit orders that could be reversed with a phone call.

Do I need my own Netcash account?

Yes, and we set it up with you during onboarding. Each business runs on its own Netcash account, which is why the money lands in your bank account and not in ours. Netcash bills its transaction fees to that account directly.

What happens when a debit fails?

Debitly marks the customer as in recovery and sends them a pay link by SMS and email. They can settle by card or instant EFT in under a minute. When the link is paid, the customer's balance clears on its own. If nothing happens, you can see at a glance who still owes and decide what to do next.

How do customers approve a mandate?

When you add a customer, Debitly sends a DebiCheck request to their bank. The customer gets a prompt in their banking app or by USSD, checks the amount and the day, and taps approve. That is the only time they have to do anything. The mandate then covers every monthly debit until it is cancelled.

Can I move my existing debit orders over?

Yes. Import your customers from a spreadsheet with their amount and debit day. Each one approves a new DebiCheck mandate once, and we help you time the switch so that nobody is debited twice or missed.

What does the pilot involve?

A small group of South African businesses running their real collections on Debitly while we stay close by. You get hands-on setup, a direct line to the people building it, and a say in what comes next. Fill in the form below and we will get in touch within two working days.
